Daughters 2002 Hyundai Getz is stuck in what i think is second gear.

The gear stick is moving around while the car is in gear and moving. Happened while she was driving she went to change gears heard a clunk and then the car revved out while she was going up a hill. Havent had a look at anything yet open to suggestions on what could be the issue and/or how to fix it.

Worn Clutch plate or thrust plate.

Check if hydraulic Clutch
if so check clutch fliud level . Could be a faulty clutch master cyclinder in hydraulic system.

it may be worth while changing the battery in the remote as it takes more power to send the frequency to disarm than to illuminate the l.e.d.

SOURCE: 2002 hyundai accent codes p1529 and p0734

P1529 means nothing more than the TCM (transmission control module) has requested that the ECM (engine control module) turn on the check engine lamp.
P0734 basically indicates that your transmission is slipping.
You need to take this car to an authorized repair center for hyundai cars. Replacing the filter and fluid on the transmission might save this transmission but I would be willing to bet that a total transmission rebuild is in order.

SOURCE: vehicle wont change up into gear reverse gear not

P0734 - 4th gear incorrect ratio. P1529 Malfunction Indicator Lamp Request. Problem is in the transmission.
Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

2006 Hyundai Getz. The car lost acceleration now won't start after fuel pump & filter replaced/

Question edited for clarity and full 'year make model'.
Question moved to correct category.

Did you disconnect the battery when you did that work. That would mean the security needs to be reset. They seem to have a history of not starting though!!

Manual gearbox linkage stuck in reverse, gear stick is limp

I would be looking at the selector cable ( if you have one ) for a broken cable or the end has come free of the selector . Should be under car but check both ends.

How can i tell if my wheel bearings need to be replaced without pulling off parts for hyundai getz 2002

Sound comparison.
Jack up one front wheel, and securely block the other 3 wheels. Start the engine and put the car in gear, and let the motor run the wheel .
Do not race the engine.
Listen to the sound it makes.
Now shut off the engine and do the same to the other front wheel.
Is one really noisy ?
That's the problem wheel.
Unless you car was in a flood, wheel bearings usually last a lifetime on most cars.
Be blessed.
