What is the fuse labeled Batt Main 3 for on a Pontiac Torrent 2007

Have your alternator checked, it may charge some but not enough to keep your battery charged. If it has an internal short (blown diode)it can discharge your battery.

hmm... well normally that line will also power the clock but i cant see it drawing that much power :/ If you take that fuse out does it still flatten your battery? what about immobilizer? or car alarm? but whatever it is... you may have to divert power to ignition instead of accessories so that it only uses power when the key has been turned to 'on' position... but there's definitely something using power there.... I'm curious!

Not sure if it's any different than the 2007 Pontiac Torrent 2wd, but if it's the same you simply disconnect the battery, and the 80 amp fuse is attached by two bolts located right next to the positive terminal of the battery. Make sure you do not reconnect the battery until after you install new fuse.

Have the alternater checked. The voltage regulator may be sticking and leaving an open circuit.

The fuse to the rear wiper motor is located in the small fuse box located in the center console near the floor, by the front passengers left foot, the box snaps open and there is a guide to the fuses inprinted on the inside cover. I think its number 3, a 20 amp fuse

its the 80 amp fuse next to the postive remote terminal. i had that happen to mine about a month ago. you will have to purchase the fuse from a dealership but only costs about $9. make sure you disconnect the battery first before installing the fuse.

FIRST CHECK TO SEE IF YOUR BATTERY CAN ATTAIN & SUSTAIN A FULL CHARGE FOR 24 HRS, IF NOT REPLACE BATTERY. IF OK, DISCONNECT POS TERMINAL, HOOK UP VOLT METER SEE IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 8 VOLT DRAW IN THE SYSTEM, IF SO START PULLING FUSES TO LOCATE EXSESSIVE DRAW ON BATTERY.
