I had a quick check on a friend Peugeot 407 as it no longer took throttle and found a lot of fault codes with the car. With regards to the throttle fault would it be worth changing the TPS and Pedal.
Faults codes are:
P0223 - Pedal sensor/signal 1 short circuit
P0228 - Pedal sensor/signal 2 short circuit
P01321 Dialogue with ABS or ESP no Comms with the ABS/ESP ECU
P1161 - Throttle position control Coherence
P0122 - Motorized throttle 1 signal short circuit to earth
P0608 - 1 supply for EGR position sensor (RFN only) and throttle position sensor short circuit to earth
P1158 - Motorized throttle signal 2 short ciruit/open circuit.

peugeot 407 v6 3.0 very short-time rattling(grinding) noise at cold-start, source ... but a friend told me it can be anything else as well (like those solenoids)! ... C6 makes when starting cold - is that a VVT or a valve lifter noise?.
The reason for the black smoke is that it is not getting enough air to burn the fuel completely. It could be a blocked air filter, obstruction in the air intake system, blown turbo, hole in tube between intake manifold and turbo,or a fault with the fuel system and injectors.
it is a warning of something fault in your car it is probably with electricity and you cannot know it you must go to a peugeot service center to fix it
