2005 in USA? yes good luck finding suz help huh? Chapter 11. see it.
on all cars with factory alarms, you scan it to see which sensor is tripping,
get is serviced at any ASE shop
or buy the FSM and read? 2 choices, you do , or they do.
or do you want us to guess, blind, ?
there are many causes, listing them all is futile.

if stock the read the FSM its just 4 bucks to read,

we cant see car, nor look for alarm box, to see if legit or alien
not ever. (photos work here)

here is the stock car bible. called the FSM.
https://suzukipitstopplus.com/Products/1137-2005-verona-service-manual.aspx

its al there, it even shows how it works.
how to test it , how to disable it. (i never run mine, as nobody ever listen to alarms, so.... its off, and happy neighbors,)
how to test it, how to diagnose it and repair.
all in one magic book, but if it reads like greek, most folks
get the car serviced, again 2 choice, DIY or they do.

one some cars, you read the operators guide, did you?
and it tells you (maybe) that you can see what input is in alarm
by taking actions near the cluster. (VDF display errors, etc)
did you ,

Is it factory system or aftermarket? sometimes aftermarket systems come with a shock sensor that can be triggered by low vibration.
factory systems would not arm if there is a breach, things that could cause it to go off; maybe faulty door lock or dome light switch

I took positive battery cable off to install new fog lights, now my remote door lock won't work, can u help me?I have a 96 Nissan pathfinder 5speed 4wd v6

Hi Ellis
Has your radio also lost it;s stations?
Dont know your model but many cars loose their security settings when you disconnect the battery. Auto electricians often place a small battery source across the Bat cables while they disconnect the Battery.
This simply holds their settings

Contact a Nissan Dealership and ask the service department?

try replacing the batteries in the remote. You may have to get a new remote. Also try disconnecting the battery to the vehicle. Let sit for 10 minutes and then reconnect battery. Try remote then.

Alarm system will not shut off and cant start car.disconnected battery and reco,no solve problem.can the remote be stuck inalarm if battery dead?

you need to press the lock/unlock on the remote.
a POSSIBLE trick turn the door key to the right then the left, get in and crank engine
if that does not work get a new battery for remote.
if you disconnect the battery the alarm will sound when you reconnect and you will have to have the remote handy to stop it

Re; 1996 V/W Jetta Alarm system won't shut off . Happened to hit the door lock button when the car was running and it triggered the alarm. Tried everything with the key in the driver's door and it will...

Disconnecting the car battery will reset the alarm system. When you first connect the car battery, the alarm will sound briefly, then stop. You will have to retrain the alarm system to recognize your remotes. The procedure for that varies from one year model to the other. On my 1998 you do it by putting the key in the door lock and holding it full counterclockwise until you hear a brief beep from the alarm horn. Then press a button on your remote and the system will learn to recognize that remote.
