Is there a way to reset airmatic on 2000 mercedes benz s500

First try disconnecting battery for half hour, is car still at normal ride height, it can be many things, but try battery it can reset car .

my problem is airmatic stop car too low

Open the hood locate the fuse box on the passengers side near fire wall back feed 12 volts into to large fuse that is loose all by its self conected by 2 wires .I think its a 40 amp . By back feeding 12 volts into the system you can pop the trunk lid with the door switch.

possibly faulty airmatic compressor witch is located under the front right bulkhead, It could do short circuit that could be the reason battery get damaged because of it getting high amps all the time when it's working it can harm to battery check airmatic compressor now it should be dead,

You must go to the dealer workshop for replace shock in your car, after replaced shock in your car must need to re calibrate the airmatic suspension through Mercedes diagnostic CPU otherwise It won't be working properly,

check the relay for the airmatic compressor it is on the passenger side in the engine compartment right next to the hood hinge. pull the cover off and its the 3rd relay back from the front. the relay might be sticking closed but have it checked before it causes the compressor to burn itself out

souds like air bags in ridding systen have a leak

next time you try to start the car just put the key in and turn the ignition on dont try to start it to see if your security light comes on. if any kind of security light come on or flashes call a dealer to find out how to reset the system. if u have the wireless transponder for the security the battery may have gone dead
