2000 bonne. Was coding po306. replaced fuel pump. Plugs. Wires. Coil packs. No more codes but NOW i drive to work 8 miles. On way home car dies like you turned off key. Only makes it 1-2 miles away from work. Has done this 4-5 times. Dies approximately same spot every time. Will not restart without running scan. No codes to clear but car starts after that. Drives home the other 5-6 miles. Next day same thing .same place. Drives around town fine. Any ideas

if none of those worked, try the fuel filter. some times it can clog. when you stop the stuff falls too the bottom and then when you start it is clogs it back up so it wont run. then you have to wait for it to fall again.

U can go to any autozone, kragen or other chain auto parts stores and they will run the trouble code test for free, let me know what they find if anything, this also may be a fuel pressure problem

fuel pump relay switch which will cause fuel pump to also become week had same problem for three yrs. My husband, every mecanic in country thought i was crazy, cuz never did it and i mean never when I took it to shop, was so flustrating, untill finally one day my husband was with me when it done it. I said finally damn car tryed make me think I was crazy, i said believe me now, said yeah, **** He drove it all time to but never in those three yrs did it ever do it to him, me on the other hand everytime i drove it just about, so i think he thought i was crazy or just wanted a different car and im like no just want mine fixed so i didnt have to take it for a walk everyday instead i would like to driving it cuz everytime i left the house in those three yrs i was usually walking back, or hitching a ride, my car walked me very often lol, That was 5 yrs ago have never had a problem with the car since, still driving it today.

It's got all the symptoms of a leak in the fuel line. You may want to start backward at the tank and work your way all the way to the carb to find it but it would be surprising if it was something else. All the best.
