DRL (daytime running lights) DRL icon light is to show whether the system is working.
The DRL indicator light on your dash and the dim low beam lights are both supposed to be on any time that you have your driving (nighttime) headlights switched off.
You can check the under dash relay/fuse box, fuse No.10 7.5A = Day Lights, is what your looking for.

there are other lights on that must not be on running DRL is the least of this, and zero importance in USA, if in USA so long as manual lamps work, my guess is you lost the operators manual, it covers every lamp, and what to do for each (get it serviced of on, when not supposde to be) use a closer camera shot so we can see them all, or put photos on a photo web site, full sizes and link to them for full effect. now the manual. the check engine light is on, see that, id bet that be way more important than DRL ? sure is. next the free manual
see that , see the warning light pages, read what it says, get it serviced. page 55 , i see low engine pressure, and charge light on, the low pressure is a engine destroyer, stop running it now. abs and traction on, but the charage light is no , battery is draining and as that happens low voltage will make the cars computer fault. is the fan belt snapped. (get charge fixed first, after making sure the oil dip stick is full for engne) you have charge system failure, it change the battery start car and see of more lights go out. the deal with them. (after charge SYSTEM is corrected) all this trying to read that weak photo.... not with standing that....
page 63 Canada.
This indicator comes on when you turn the ignition switch to ON (II) with the headlight switch off and the parking brake set. It should go off if you turn on the headlights or release the parking brake. If it comes on at any other time, it means there is a problem with the DRL. There may also be a problem with the high beam headlights.
verbatum.
most DRL , shut down, with Charge failure to save the battery.
so back to charge. (and OIL)
usa dash, canada has DRL added.
you now have a real opr, guide, no more guessing, right?
the honda , PCM runs the Alternator, then if it fails, it sends digital command (can-bus) to the Cluster brain, above, if the battery is charged to 12.6vdc, we connect any scan tool to the OBD2 DLC, and see if there are errors, that can make the cluster lie to you,. it can. (the beauty of distributed processing, not)

In canada? with DRL?
is the charge (battery Light on running)
nice photo but do name all lights, i see idle is at 800rpm good.
i see check engine light there, top left. so you need to scan PCM
using any scan tool
that is first.
DRL can shut down for other failures one is charge lamp. on.
if charge lamp is on , do not drive far, or it will stall and battery will discharge and be stranded. (till AAA auto tow is called <jumped)
