2005 caddy sts .want to change radio to big screen nav ,bluetooth .will all buttons still work on wheel and mirror

Need new one , when it shows dashes it's had it . Take to the dealer , they may be able to revive it with factor scan tool . An reprogramming .

I am afraid that you are out of luck. Did you check the fuse. The only other person would be the dealer or you may find another unit in the salvage yard.

ECLIPSE MAKES a good nav unit I had one in an equinox. you can get modules to allow the use of steering wheel controls and onstar.

Look on ebay for an REC Joystick replacement. In the mean time you can hold down the middle button on the right side of the back of the steering wheel, where you can control the radio features. When you hold this button down, a little red wheel symbol appears on the navigation screen which means you can control the navigation system from the steering wheel controls. This works for simple tasks until you get the replacement joystick. They are about $30 and take about an hour to install.

Does it have a nav screen? if so follow these steps
-press the config hard button below the screen
-go to i believe occupant information and then there should be a driver 1 and driver 2 button go into driver 1 and then position your seat and then you should be able to press a save button.

My Caddy was working fine until yesterday when we went to get in, we couldnt unlock the car with the detector so we ended up using the key. when we did that we had NO Power at all car would not start up.. My husband ended up jumping the car off and it worked. we took it to Advance Auto and the guy tested the battery and he said it was fine... until i went to get in it the next day it did the samething and now im at work and it wont start any suggestions whats wrong?

That means that your car wasn't fitted with bluetooth module from factory. You can purchase at dealer but you're talking around $1k and from what I hear isn't the greatest.

2005 STS4 In the center console there are audio video jacks. Go to radio shack and grab a cable with audio/video one side headphone the other. Plug into your iPod and put the touchscreen setting on AUX. It's on the screen getting to bluetooth
