I am assuming this code started with the letter P (P1793). This code refers to the Transmission so the catalytic converter replacement will have no effect on this code. There is an issue with a signal from a sensor on the transmission. You will need to take this to a good mechanic as access to these sensors can be difficult to get to.

Definition of P0420 is catalyst below threshold. This is indicative of (among other things) a converter that is not working as efficiently as it should be (according to specs). Catalytic converters are not normally a "wear" type item, that is they are not deisgned to wear out and need replacement. If they have failed, it is likely due to something else that caused it to fail.
P0447 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve/Solenoid Circuit Open. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has detected an open within the circuit that controls the vent valve or solenoid for evaporative emission systems vapor.
As you probably know by now there is no way to pass an emissions test as long as the check engine light is on....Your car is what they call an OBD2 system... You need to have the diagnostics codes pulled by a special tester specifically for OBD 2 systems... Once codes are pulled fix if necessary any problem and have the codes cleared... This will turn the check engine light off an enable you to pass smog providing your car is running properly...
If P1627 is set when there is a problem with the fuel level sending unit, 100% sure on this problem, replace the fuel levelsender in the gas tank, about 2.5 hours, very straight forward job
