My gas tank is on empty, but my "miles to go " on my dash is reading 300 miles til empty

Well, if you keep driving and you don't run out of gas. I would say the sending unit on the fuel pump is bad. And not reading how much gas is in the tank.

On the Chrysler 300, 06. The old pump and the new pump comes on for 2 to 5 sec then stops running. Engine sounds like its. Not getting any gas. Trying to locate the fuel release VAL under Hood.

The fuel pump normally only comes on for a second unless the car starts and is running, if the car starts and the pump only runs for a few seconds, then there is a problem with the engine signal to the ecm, ie its not telling the computer that it is running. I dont believe there is a schrader valve on those fuel lines, if there is, chrysler probably put it underneath the intake plenum. If the car will not start, but you hear the fuel pump kick on and off, it could have a clogged fuel filter, or injectors, or even bad connections going to the injectors. They normally are all switched via the ground wire for each injector, so if they are not cycling it could be a bad ecm, or bad connection somewhere in the wiring harness

Is there a reset switch after changing a fuel pump in a 2006 Chrysler 300

I don't think so. My guess would be that the float in your fuel tank is stuck. You may need to replace it. I hope this is some help to you.

My 2006 Chrysler 300 2.7 engine won't start went to mother in law worked fine but when it was time to go the car did not want to start it cranks like it wants to start but it turns off like no gas but I...

Yes there is, however before you spend any money. Have someone crank the car while you look inside the engine by taking the oil cap off, if the camshaft is not moving then the taming belt is broken. These cars are prone to this problem specially if the is not replaced every 90,000 miles

Where is a fuel gauge for when your tank is empty located on a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica

It could be the gauge on the dash or the sending unit in the fuel tank is bad. If it is the sending unit ,the gas tank will most likely have to be taken out. And if the dash gauge the dash will have to be taken apart. Diagnosis of Stuck Fuel Gauge Is it Gauge or Sending Unit Here is a video how to test it.

Fuel system problem van won't start. It will run with starting fluid. It's full of gas. fuel gauge says empty. fuel light is on. fuel pump fuse appears to be OK

check for power to the fuel pump, ck your connections to the fuel tank, if the connections are good, and you have voltage to the sending unit, your fuel pump is bad, since your gauge reads empty, and it is full of fuel, I would really look a the connection at the tank

How does your run if there is a problem with the fuel pump?

They won't run. If it seems like it's starving for gas, change the fuel filter. Sometimes a fuel pump will get weak, but on a car only 3 years old it shouldn't be.
