Disconnect the battery, locate the idler bracket that adjust the tension on the belt. Loosen the bracket and unhook the belt off of the Idler bracket(no need to remove belt unless in the way) Remove water pump when car is cooled down. Loosen bolts that hold the water pump on and remove pump. Put new one on and reverse process. Replace your antifreeze/ water. Start car for thirty seconds. Stop car, look for leaks and top off antifreeze. Done deal.

2001 ford explorer sport keeps blow fuel pump fuses

The most common cause of this is that the fuel pump is drawing to much current due to wear and a possible burned fuel tank connector at the tank. To replace the pump you must raise the truck up and remove the fuel tank. Also replace the fuel filter which is on the inside of the frame on the drivers side. Use a rag to cover the fuel line when disconnecting it with the required special tool.

My 01 explorer sport won't idle

have you tried removing the EGR valve and cleaning the valve and ports with brake cleaner, using a vacuum pump test the valve, if all moves freely, replace the valve onto the manifold, if this doesnt cure the problem, you can try to replace the idle control solenoid.
