Bill has good points. But if it slipping, then replace the clutch package. I would replace the master and slave at the same time. Have the oil changed in the transmission and will be good to go for another 100,000+ miles.
Check /replace clutch cable or replace master cylinder. If the clutch has not been replaced it may need a clutch kit as the indications are that the pressure plate is weak ( worn clutch plate or from overheated clutch)

Thank you for the request. Since the car only has 24,000 miles on it, I would take it back to the dealer. It does sound like that your clutch needs an adjustment of some type. Since I do not own a Hyundai I have no idea what the actual problem might be. I just did some research and found out that the clutch in your car is hydrolic (meaning that it uses a master and slave cylinder with hydrolic fluid to push the clutch arm when you push the clutch pedal with your foot). Trying to work on this type of clutch system can sometimes be a very hard to do. With the small amount of miles your car has on it, I would get the dealer involved in solving this problem. It could be something as simple as bleeding air from the hydrolic system of the clutch or it might be replacement of either the master cylinder, the slave cylinder and/or the fluid line that goes in between those two cylinders.
Much good luck in fixing this problem.

Hi Jackiaria
Unfortunately you have a hydraulic clutch, which is self adjusting on your car.
The problem you are experiencing is the excessive wear to your clutch, or oil contamination on the clutch plate.
Both these problems can only be fully diagnosed once the gearbox is removed and the clutch is inspected.
There is also a possibility of excessive wear, or scoring, on the flywheel surface, the longer you drive the vehicle with a slipping clutch, possibly requiring the flywheel to be skimmed.

Good Luck !
A FixYa rating would be Nice....Thanks.....John.
