Why my oldsmobile barrada dose not star(1996)

Charge output cable from the alternator may be corroded or broken. Bad fusible link or maxi fuse . What is the charging voltage ?

I am not sure but I do know that i had a 1996 Oldsmobile that had a chip in the key

either the regulator is going out or the belt is loose or the load is too heavy for the alternator..

Have you had your ecu checked out? Does your check engine light come on, on the dash, when you turn the ignition key to on? If that light does not come on, your ecu might need to be repaired.

Have the system pressurized with a coolanr t pressure gauge with the engine off of course. The pressure that is applied to the engines cooling system will show where the leak is coming from.

Try Clean up the computer ground terminals not the battery terminals, leading from main harness to engine block well below the air filter assembly, bad ground

Check the fuse for fuel pump... Alot of volvo have problems with the fuse's

CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE WITH CAR RUNNING.TO SEE IF ALTERNATOR IS CHARGING THE BATTERY. IT SHOULD BE 13.5 VOLTS TO 14.5 VOLTS.IF NOT ITS YOUR ALTERNATOR.IF ALTERNATOR GOOD.MOST TIME IF ABS LIGHT COME ON YOU HAVE A FAULTY WHEEL SENSOR OR ABS RELAY.
