My info just said jeep liberty. Hope you can read it. Instrument panel power outlet. In the diagram, the top wire is voltage, the bottom wire is ground.
You can find the fuse box on the drivers end of the dash under a cover(called Junction Block) . Remove the plastic cover, and look on the back for the diagram to see which fuse to replace. Fuse 31 of 20 Amp is the cigarette lighter fuse.
its probably not the lighter itself, it's probably lost power. check the fuse for the cig lighter and see if blown. if it is, replace. if it blows immediately you have a dead short. if not, pay attention to when it stops working. could be a problem with whatever you are plugging in, or something else on the circuit
you have a short somewhere in the cigarette lighter. Most likely the socket itself, but possibly behind the dash somewhere. The radios in the Jeeps ****, and most likely just a bad radio. The door lock either has a bad actuator, or bad wiring in the door jamb. Remove the panel and see if you are getting power to the actuator. If so, you need it, if not check the wiring.
