My Ram will not start or turnover. The dome light is on and head lights will rspond. When key is turned on no reaction from idicatiors on dash.

When driving the tire light came on and after a half hour or so a little red light came on on right side of dash. No indication what issue was. Later a signal sounded from dash off an don but again no idicatior as to what issue was. When parked and turned key on there was no racton on dash and it would not turn over. The dome light did come on as did th eheadlights when trying to lcok it up.

This procedure usually works:
·Check the battery cable connections:
Make sure the positive cable, makes a good connection at the battery and at the starter. Make sure the negative cable makes a good ground connection at the battery and (preferably) at the engine.

·Check the battery the simple way, like this:
Turn on the headlights, then try to start the car.If the headlights do not dim or go out, then the battery is likely ok.

·Check the starter and solenoid:
If the wiring looks ok, then look at the starter solenoid for a good connection, and proper voltage at the starter(10 volts minimum while cranking).
If the starter spins and no crank, the problem is most likely the Solenoid's bendix gear is stuck.
Have someone hit (not too hard) the starter while you try to start the car. This usually works by dislodging a stuck bendix gear.
·Make a simple test of the alternator:
If you can, somehow get the engine running, measure the voltage at the battery. It should be at least 13.6 volts to properly charge the battery.

I am thinking that what you experienced is your alternator going out. You will have to have that checked which any auto parts store can do that for you. You will have to fully charge your battery after you replace the alternator.

2004 Mazda RX-8. How do I fix my car and could you send a engine manual for my 2004 rx8.

Question edited for full 'year make model' in that order.
Question moved to correct category.

Service manual in the link, but for your electrical problem, you will need a mobile auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to diagnose the issue.

Turn key and just a loud click starter not turning but I noticed when key is in start position all power seems to go out dash lights radieo dome everything goes out until key is returned to run pos.

Everything is supposed to go off in the start position. You would have power to the engine computer and other components to start.
If the engine is not locked up, it could be the starter or a bad connection with one of the battery cables.

Cooked a jumper pack on backwards positive to negative (it was dark) lights work, dome light works. when I turn the key nothing no chime No turnover no dash lights.look at 1 set of fuses my 100 amp alt...

Connecting jumpers to a battery is risky at the best of time but connecting them wrong is a death spell for the computer in the car. You will probably need another cpu unit for the car

Battery is charged. Went to start car at the end of the day, and there is a mechanical clicking sound (all dash indicators light) but the starter motor won't engage, and car won't turnover. Bad...

Do this to check if it's a bad battery, turn head light's on and try to start it, if head light go to dim or off, bad battery not holding a charge, if light stay on ok, then this will take two people tap on the starter kinda hard with a hammer or something you can reach it with while some one hold's to key to start, if it start's bad starter or trys to turn engine replace it.
