I want to add a keyless entry to my 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 2WD 4.0L and also a remote start. It does not have any type of remote for the vehicle right now I.E. alarm system. Is it possible to do a remote...

This is possible with almost any vehicle, especially ones with power locks. I installed keyless entry on someone car before on my own. Took about 3 hours or just take it to a local shop. Its a pretty easy install for anyone who is mechanically inclined.

Truck does not longer unlocks door when the key is turned to the off position and removed

Auto lock is the only option from the factory on the F-150. Auto unlock would be from an aftermarket RKE or remote start / alarm.

do you have an aftermarket RKE / RMST / Alarm installed ?

Im instaling a remote start alarm on my 1999 ford f 150 how do i bipass the anti theft and i do not want to carry 2 remotes around

The 2 Key fob part, is to get a remote start that also has the RKE ( Remote Keyless Entry ) function. The the RMST / RKE system is installed, the RMST fob would be able to operate the door locks ( you can put the factory RKE fobs in the drawer )

the PATS ( Passive AntiTheft System ) part is to get a PATS bypass module for the remote start. The remote start that you purchase needs to be able to activate this prior to starting the truck ( usually pulse / signal outputs, most mfgr of RMST have these ).

There are a few PATS bypass modules, I have only used the Ford branded one ( which I think is also made by CodeAlarm, not 100% sure ).

How do i reset the antitheft system on a ford f150

For the factory system ( PATS ) you only need to start the truck with a key programmed to the truck. This should be 1 of the 2 keys that you got with the truck.
Are you talking about the theft LED on the wart on the dash, or is this another LED, as in Ford Gold Remote start / alarm or aftermarket system ?

Does my 2007 f 150 have a shock sensor that will trigger the factory alarm if a window is broken? If so how can I adjust it?

yes... on the unit itself. there is an adjustment screw you'll need to turn in one way or the other for sensitivity

Need new keychain alarm button

Is this a factory installed alarm system? If so, unlocking the driver door with the key will allow the car to start. If not then you will have to remove the aftermarket alarm system to start the car.
If you have a factory alarm system you can get a new FOB (key chain alarm button) from a ford dealer, but it must be programmed using a scanner , before it will work in your vehicle.

I have an aftermarket Ford remote start on my 2005 Ford Sport Trac. I tried to start with my truck with the key in the ignition, I would hear clicks and then the alarm would go off. I have tried to reset...

First thing is to identify the alarm system, I.E.- who made it and what model it is? (like Viper, Automate, etc...)
Contact the aftermarket alarm manufacturer or the person that installed the alarm (if you had/know who installed the alarm system). Most major system have a phone number and a list of qualified installers for their systems. They will be able to direct you to a shop that can service the system. If your vehicle won't start, you may have to have it towed to the location to diagnose and correct the problem.
