My head lights will not come on,,,I pulled a fuse and the head lights work,,but the park lights will not work
There is a headlamp outage module if you have a center console it is under the far forward piece they are commonly out on the explorer it can be bought from ford for Aprox 75 buck and is very easy to change there are some great videos on YouTube it is also possible to by pass this if needed as a temp fix but only with caution

Dear Rrides,
Check fuse number 4 in the interior box. It should have power on both sides with the low beams on.If ok,check for power at the back of the head lamp bulb. It is possible that both bulbs went at the same time. I don't think there is a ground concern because the high beam circuit uses the same grounds.
If you find power missing from the fuse, check for power at the red/black wire on the back of the multi-function switch. This is the switch that contains the turn signals and the dimmer switch. If power is missing with the low beams on,check the red/yellow wire. This is the power feed into the switch. If you have power, the multi-function switch is bad. If you are missing power, drop me a line and we can go further.
Thanks,Chuck

IF YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC LIGHTS, THERE IS A RELAY BEHIND RIGHT CENTER OF DASH THAT MAY BE INVOLVED. THE COLOR OF THE 4 WIRES ON THE RELAY ARE AS FOLLOWS.
2 WIRES ---- TAN WITH WHITE STRIPE
1 WIRE ----- LIGHT GREEN WITH YELLOW STRIPE
1 WIRE ----- BROWN
ALSO CHECK ALL FUSES WITH A GOOD FUSE TESTER & EXAMINE THE LIGHT SWITCH SOCKET FOR ANY BURNED OR BAD CONNECTIONS. GOOD LUCK DR. VOLT.
