SOURCE: Radio volume will not adjust.

Hello. If this is repairable, the radio will have to be removed anyways. Some radios can be removed with a butter knife. If you pry off the front dash panel, there will be 4 screws holding on the radio. If you don't have the 4 screw type look for and tabs on the radio that are pryed up on the insides, pry them down with butter knife. Pull out stereo and disconnect the clip on wire harness.

You can try blowing out the unit and the knob if you purchase a can of "Air Duster" (compressed air and c02 in can)
If this radio is equipped, remove screws and cover to gain access to inside. Blow out the entire unit, especially the knob. The knob should also come off to spray inside.

If cleaning doesn't help, I suggest going to the junk yard and get another one for $15, otherwise WalMart, Kmart, sell them for $35+

SOURCE: 1987 dodge ram charger. How do you increase idle?

If you have a TPS(throttle position switch) you may bre able to turn the knurled knob at the end downward to speed up . or theres a small hex key fitting in the rear center of the switch with wiich you would screw it in to increase the speed. If you do not have an emmision controlled speed switch(tps) then there is a screw that is capped of and probably shouldn't be moved. Your idle usually drops because of afault in the timing, a vacuum leak or another simple problem. But adjustments to the factory settings are rarely needed, I'd look around a bit before doing this. Good luck.

Radio volume increases to the maximum by itself

Check if TA (Traffic Announce) function is turned on - sometimes radio station is using that feature improperly, thus causing volume to go up by itself.

I have an 2011 dodge charger, the radio and screen doesn't come on. Please help me with this problem.

You should have an owners manual in the Flovent box. Search in the index for fuses. There should be a couple for the radio circuit. Locate and check all the fuses for the radio. If none of the radio fuses are blown than the problem may be a little more serious, possible a bad radio unit.

Wont idle or rev

theres a throttle position sensor and one part is connected to the accelerator pedal underneath, its like a rheostat in a radio, when you press on the gas pedal it sends a signal to the computer to increase the rpm's (just as a radio increases in volume),if this component opens up,it will not increase rpm's with pedal pressure or change

My 2009 elantra touring gls radio has a ghost in it. at random times the volume or the channels will increase. how can this be fixed?

There is nothing wrong with your radio. Your Elantra radio automatically changes the volume for you. When you slow down and stop, it lowers the volume, then the volume goes back up when you accelerate.
