You will have to drive it to do that. If you do not have a scan tool go to Advance , auto zone or pep boys they will tell you for free. You do not reset the computer it has to relearn itself

Stalls when at idle after changing battery

When you changed the battery the computer must re-learn the setting again. If it continues have a OBD II reader plugged in and check for codes.

CAR COMPUTER HAS TO BE RESET. WHEN CHANGING THE BATTERY?

I assume that you are saying that the car idles poorly, after you changed the battery, and you are requesting information to reset the computer.

There is no 'reset' button., What you have to do is drive the car, about 5 miles, in stop and go traffic, and then highway speeds., This teaches the computer the 'base idle parameter'.

Drive the car, as described above, and your base idle will then readjust itself for optimal performance.

Hyundai 2002 Elantra - Battery Change

You'll have to reset your clock and it will reset the computer in the car but you'll be fine. Just remember, black to negative and red to positive. Keep them straight and you won't have an issue.

Also, parts stores often change them for free if you buy the battery. Napa, Auto Zone, Advance Auto, etc. If you're that uncomfortable.

When i change the airag in my truck do i have to have the computer reset or can i simply unhook the battery change the airbag and then hook the battery back up

Disconnecting the battery resets the computor anyway, so you don't have to have it reset.
Also pull the fuse for the airbag.

I changed the battery and now the computer won't "reset"

Did you change the Batt right before the emissions test? If so bad idea. Yes the car needs to be driven for some time before the computer sets up timing fuel and spark carrectly. Drive some more then try the test again, should be ok and pass
