Po141 keeps coming on even though the part was changes and the code cleared from computer, why?

The P0141 code refers to your o2 sensor heater circuit. while many times replacement of the o2 sensor can solve this problem you possibly have a short or open in your o2 sensor heater circuit. Also was the proper o2 sensor changed p0141 is the bank 1 number 2 sensor. Bank 1 refers to the side of your engine where the #1 cylinder is located sensor 2 should be the second sensor on that side depending on how many sensors you vehicle has. hope this helps

This code keeps coming up we changed the o2 sensor and put new plugs and wires on. The truck is hesitating and seems to lose power going up hills and is now smoking. It is a 2004 chevy avalanche.

This could be due to the wrong O2 sensor, Bad Catalytic Convertor, EGR valve or something along those lines. Did you replace this with an OEM part and not have to change the wiring harness or did you have to change the wirings? The other most common issue is you changed it with a non-OEM product and the O2 sensor is not reading correctly. Check to make sure wires are hooked up correctly. Also not know the details of this vehicle it can be that you changed the wrong O2 sensor also, most vehicles have an O2 sensor before and after the Catalytic Convertor

P134, p0141, po300, po130 and po135. 2005 Sunfire.

Given that most of the trouble codes are for the O2 sensor, I think I would change it. The multiple misfires could be because of improper fuel/air mixture caused by a bad sensor. Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal then change the sensor. Disconnecting the negative(-) should reset the computer and allow the fuel/air mixture to return to default allowing the engine to start.
P0130 - O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0134 - O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0135 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0300 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected

1996 grand cherokee starts fine and runs great the first 5 minutes. Then it runs like ****..doesn't completely stall but runs really rough. Like it wants to stall but doesn't. Replaced the fuel pump and...

First thing is; When you changed the fuel pump, did you compare the 2 to see if they were identicle?, because it's possible that you could have the wrong fuel pump.. Second; you should have changed the fuel filter when you changed the pump, if not? you need to put a new fuel filter on... Third... It is possible for the upper o2 sensor, because on your Jeep, you have an OBD II system, which is, ( On Board Diagnostics II) and that system uses two "o2" sensors; One before the catalytic converter and one after the converter. The Primary o2 sensor is the one before the converter; The secondary o2 sensor, or catalyst monitor, is located after the catalytic converter.
The two o2 sensors work on an "open loop and closed loop". When the motor is cold, the o2 sensors are in open loop, which means they are not being used to monitor the exhaust gas, and when the motor warms up- after 5 minutes or so, then the computer switches to "Closed loop" and the o2 sensors are then used to monitor the exhaust gasses, so it is possible that your primary o2 sensor, or the one before the catalytic converter is bad.... But! It's very rare for both o2 sensors to go out at the same time.... I hope that answers your question & gives you an idea of how the o2 sensors work in conjunction with the fuel injection system.
