The blower fan quit working and am wondering where to start troubleshooting? turned ignition on and seemingly have no power to the 4 point switch connection

get a 6 cylinder motor drop in this is best gas saver for most vehicles 4 cylinders dont have the ability to push all the weight of a vehicle but runs smoothly
6 cylinders are as i put in words are evenly balanced for everyday use and not gas guzzler either

Sounds like your blower motor rheostat needs to be replaced. I'm about to replace mine for the second time. Fan just quits working altogether when the rheostat goes.

You can test both of them once you have it apart. I have given you instruction below. Please follow them as injury could result.
REMOVAL
WARNING: ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AIRBAGS, DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY STEERING WHEEL, STEERING COLUMN, OR INSTRUMENT PANEL COMPONENT DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. DISCONNECT AND ISOLATE THE BATTERY NEGATIVE (GROUND) CABLE, THEN WAIT TWO MINUTES FOR THE AIRBAG SYSTEM CAPACITOR TO DISCHARGE BEFORE PERFORMING FURTHER DIAGNOSIS OR SERVICE. THIS IS THE ONLY SURE WAY TO DISABLE THE AIRBAG SYSTEM. FAILURE TO TAKE THE PROPER PRECAUTIONS COULD RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT AND POSSIBLE PERSONAL INJURY.
CAUTION: Stay clear of the blower motor and resistor block (Hot). Do not operate the blower motor with the resistor block removed.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the glove box from the instrument panel (Refer to 23 - BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/GLOVE BOX - REMOVAL).
Pull out the lock on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector to unlock the connector latch (Blower Motor Resistor Block- Typical).
Depress the latch on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector and disconnect the connector from the resistor.
Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor block to the HVAC housing.
Remove the resistor block from the HVAC housing.

Blower motor resister is bad, Thats what makes the blower run and also regulates the speeds of the blower motor.

If you bypass the resistor pack and connect the motor directly to the fused 12v supply then the fan should run at maximum speed. If so, it's the resistor pack that's blown: a very common fault on a huge number of makes and models.
