Tahoe's are heavy and wear tires very fast 30k is pretty good actually for tahoe. but if u look at tire company sites they list wear factor ratings look for best number in your tires size and theoretically they will last longer.

What are the best brand of tires for my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe GL?

I've had great success with BF Goodrich Long Trail TA tires on my 2002 SF GLS AWD. Long wearing, comfortable ride... got well over 90,000 miles on each set. (I keep them inflated to correct PSI and well aligned!)

What kind of tires do I need for a 2008 chevy uplander?

Tires have many variables that affect drivability and safety...Depending on how you use your Uplander...like most things...you get what you pay for...It is usually best to stay with original tire size...ie...225/60/R16..(This confirms speedometer accuracy and tire wheelwell clearances). Comparison by mileage warranty will help assure good quality. All season tread pattern is best overall...For best ride quality the Michelin Harmony is hard to beat. Yokohama tires have proven to be great performers, but do not ride as soft as the Michelin...Goodyear design and quality is not the leader as they used to be in the 1980's...still OK but harsh ride and poor performance in slippery weather...Bridgestone is good also, but not as good as the Michelin or Yokohama...You will be pleasantly surprised with either the Michelin or Yokohama...Tire sidewalls are required to show the USDT rating for temperature and treadwear comparison...Last but just as important is tire air pressure...35 lbs psi is best for everyday driving, handling, and tread wear...Hope this helps.

Looking for a different tire for Suzuki XL7 (2007). Currently has the factory tires Bridgestone 235/60-17 which are a strange size. Need to know if a Cooper CTS 245/65-17 will rub the wheel wells?? Any...

I do not know for certain whether the larger tires will fit; but here is how you can check.

The 235/60-17 Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684 II have a diameter of 28.3 inches, rim width of 7, section width of 9.3 and a tread width of 7.8. When compared to 245/65-17 Bridgestone Dueler H/T D684 II the diameter(29.5) is 1.2 inches larger and the section width(9.8) is 0.5 inch larger. The rim width and tread width are the same. You would need to check existing clearances and then compare to the additional size required to verify fitment.
The above data is from TireRack (see web address below)
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?make=Bridgestone&model=Dueler+H%2FT+D684+II&tirePageLocQty=

Tire Rack carries 5 different tires from 3 brands(Bridgestone, BFG, and Kumho) in the 235/60-17 size at $66 to $119 each. I have bought many tires from them without a problem. They do not carry Cooper tires.

Aggravated front tire wear (outer edges)

Your situation is not not abnormal. Since you can't rotate due to different sizes front & rear & they are high performance "Y" speed rated tires 30K is really pretty good
