Speed sensors on wheels. Have you had any service to tires or wheels?

These hall effect sensors are at the inside diameter of your wheels and tell the computer the wheel is turning. one at each wheel are common now on all wheel drive autos. there is a small plug on these sensors that can become unplugged by running over something maybe....
More than likely a wheel bearing is failing causing heat to the sensor mounted in the bearing causing the sensor to fail.

I have p1000 and c1175 codes

P0128 is a Coolant Thermostat Malfunction

P1000 shows that the fault code has been reset recently (but this code will not bring the warning light on)

C1175 I think is Speed Wheel Sensor LR Input Circuit Failure or Input circuit failure and could be directly related to your ABS fault light indication.

Can you tell me what these two codes are P1000 and a C1165 on jaguar x type 3 litre abs, thanks

Po code 1000 is system readyness test, it means it has not met all condtions or flags since last reset of the computer. and the other C1165-Wheel speed sensor circuit right rear electrical failure and C1235-Wheel speed sensor circuit right rear signal failure
Possible Source(s):
  • Harness fault.
  • Connector loose or corroded.
  • Connector pin(s) bent or tracking between connections.
  • Sensor gap incorrect.
  • Foreign matter on sensor face.
  • Missing tooth on sensor wheel.
  • Faulty Sensor.
  • Most Likey cause the harness got knocked off the sensor. If you need more help let me know.

Have error codes C1175 & P1000 for a 2002 Jaguar X-type 2.5.

C1175 ABS/TCCM Anti-lock braking / traction control LH rear wheel speed sensor circuit fault ABS/TCCM to wheel speed sensor signal circuit (FH33-21): open circuit, short circuit to ground, short circuit to B+ voltage, high resistance LH rear wheel speed sensor failure
P1000 is for check not complete after last memory clear , dont worry about it , just stick with C1175 , and most probably it is the sensor wire
