Bye a can of carby clean and give the throttle body and idle galleries a clean out this should help with the low idle other then that the car should wind the idle down when it warms up this is normal.

if it feels like it is going to stall there may be a idle speed motor problem test this by putting the a/c on at idle with the car in gear the revs should pick up a little if they drop there is a problem and the car will need ferther diagnosis

SOURCE: 1990 camry power window problem

It is rare that the power window relay will fail. Personally, I would look to see if there is power at the master switch on the driver's door. Anywhere. If the is NO POWER, you have a broken wire between the door & the LF kick panel where the wires come thru the body into the door shell. If there is power, the master switch is narmally the culprit

Fuse box is by drivers left knee. Above this are the flashers and about 3 inches above this is the circuit breaker for the windows and door locks. breaker is silver, about 1/2 by 5/8 inch and in the center is the button you need to push in to reset. I used an unbent paper clip to press it. Make sure unit is not energized. May need to unplug breaker first. Press in center button until it clicks.

FOB won't work on Chevy Avalanche

Doesn't use a fuse , ues a circuit breaker . These very rarely go bad .The right rear door works ? Uses same circuit breaker as front passenger door. The power windows an locks on your vehicle are controlled by electronic control modules . FPDM - front passenger door module , I would look for a broken orange wire inside the flex boot from the body to the front right passenger door . This is power supply to the passenger door module . Do you know what wiring diagrams are ? Free here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb

Wiring diagram for 1991 toyota camry master switch put in a new switch for the windows&locks but it does not work check the fueses they are good .

the harness that goes through drivers door from the inside of the car will usually have about 6-8 broken wires in it where the door opens and closes so much.there is also a circuit breaker in the left kick panel at the top of the fuse block. it will have a silver front with a hole in the center.take a straight pick and push it in the hole to see if it needs to be reset.let me know if all the windows and door locks quit working at the same time or over a period of time one then the other. if eveything quit at the same time then it is most likely a power problem.let me know...........

Power window on driver side stopped working and the door locks stopped working . Also this morning the battery was dead but nothing was left on.

It sounds like you may a faulty door lock switch. If you pushed the switch to lock the doors and the switch stuck and kept door lock solenoids energized, that would drain the battery. It would also keep the door locks from unlocking, as to why window don't work it could all be on the same fuse or circuit breaker. Usually the power windows are on an automatic reset circuit breaker. Do you hear click and a short time later another click (with the battery charged)? If so that the circuit breaker tripping then resetting. Good luck!

No power to front AC, back is fine and Power locks not working

if it only works on one speed check the resister pack for the fan motor, also if it is electronic it could be the control head/module,did the locks stop working at the same time ?, if so check the basics, the fuses, circuit breakers are usually for door locks or power windows/headlights type circuits,

1991 toyota camry

double check the fuses, etc first to see if anything blew. there should be circut breakers to check as well (consult your manual). have someone look at your wiring to make sure it hasn't corroded inside the doors.

In my 1991 toyota camry, both, the power locks and windows stopped working. I can't seem to locate their fuses

There is no fuse. The circuit is controlled by a circuit breaker, and they never fail. What I would be looking for, from personal experience, would be a broken wire between the door and the body. The wires break inside the harness, right between the body and the door.

Location of window circuit breaker

All of the window motors utilize the same circuit breaker. Look for a broken wire between the left side of the dash, which goes thru the inner fender to the door. According to my 1988 schematic, the wire you are looking for should be BLUE, and should have 12 volts with the key on.
