On some of the newer vehicles, after the install you may need to get the dealer to do a software update so the vehicle knows that there is now fog lights. it may not know they are there yet.
If your PU didn't come with factory installed fog lights then you will need to replace your headlight switch with a fog light enabled headlight switch.

You only need to get the components you don't already have. The headlight switch that is fog enabled will pull out for fog light operation, if yous doesn't you need to replace the switch and do some wiring as shown in the pdf file linked above.
I bought the factory kit from Ebay. It came with clear instructions including the new headlight switch assembly that includes the fog light switch. I think it was under $150. Once installed, you have to see the dealer so they can program the computer to run the new lights.
