Where is the windshield washer pump located under the hood?

Try to trace the rubber hose to the washer spray on the hood.
That should lead you to the washer pump. The relay should be in that area. Sometimes it's with the fuses under the hood.

When you pull the lever to activate the windshield washers, do you hear any type of sound coming from under the hood?  A whirring sound should be heard from the little electric pump that feds the washers.
If you can hear the whir, then you should look for a possible clog in the washer hoses (there is more than one...).
If you cannot hear the whirr, then you should check the fuse that protects the windshield washer circuit.  Check your owner's manual for the location and correct amperage for this circuit.

Your Accent has rear wiper/washer.. correct? That's where the 3rd wire comes in. They sold you/you bought the wrong pump. Here's the wiring diagrams:

Attached directly to the windshield wiper motor and washer pump assy, whhich can be found under the hood below the windshield.

The rear washer pump is located under the washer resevour under the hood. There are 2 pumps. The one closest to the firewall is the pump for the rear. The other is the one for the front windshield.

The inside fuse panel is located on the passenger side center console. The other fuse block is located under the hood on the drivers side.

it should be under the hood on either the driver or passenger side.
