probably-- to program a fob key correctly you should have the car and the key hooked up to a computer so that the immobiliser can be programmed to the key
best done at a service dealer or qualified locksmith
You need a working key to start the process...start your Buick with the functional key...turn to off...wait less than 10 seconds then insert the new blank and it should program itself...a good GM parts rep can instruct you...contact them as needed...
the key fob has to be programed by a dealer for your car or approved and authorized dealer to program the fob to you car and the the memory and code authorization codes to access the card functions.
I own a 2007 Buick Lacrosse, but I imported it to Paraguay, South America. Now I bought a new Engine Start Keyless Entry Remote from Amazon, but here we do not have any GM dealer to program the unit.
I really need help to program the keyless remote control, I will appreciate very much your help.
The Key Fobs for the Buick LaCrosse typically fail after 4 years. Both of mine started off failing to unlock and then completely failing. I purchased 2 new ones on EBAY for $40 and had the dealer program them for $10. To buy new ones at the dealer is very expensive, about $150 apiece.
