Its a 1997 montero sport

it could be the actual motor burnt out or siezed wich is causing the fuses to blow and the motor is under the bonet just below the windowscreen near the top vents.

Will not start, no lights on dash with key on

hi,just had same fault on nissan terrano2 97 model diesel.Checked all conections at battery and cleaned terminals, checked fuses uner bonet and under dash, found 20amp fuse for meter blown, changed still no good.Removed plastic covers under dash to check for broken wires or connectors unplugged or loose. All looked ok,swapped four blue relays around under fuse box,and re checked faulty 20 amp fuse.Had lights and power back, engine starting.Had turned ignition on and off several times to do tests. Not sure if it was a poor contact at something I changed or maybe an imobiliser issue.Working for now but not sure what the fault was.Used to work for mazda and jra years ago but have not worked much on the nissan so not up to speed, seems like a nice car though.Any one else had this?

Radio and navi won't turn on. Tried looking for blown fuse but unable to locate one. Help.

It helps to state what radio you have.....So did you find the fuse and its good?and getting power or just tried to find it? Try fuse 11 and 13 for the Nav. Fuse 8 and 9 inside and fuse 4 under hood for BOSE SYSTEM. Fuse 8, 9 under dash and 48 under hood for non BOSE

I just replaced alternator and 175 mega fuse in 1996 contour . now power mirrors, radio, clock, and interior light do not work. fuse diagram only references radio and fuse is good. is there a larger...

If the manual fails to include or mention certain items for a problem, it would be best to go to the fuse boxes. Normally a blown fuse is caused by a short after the main fuse. So this means you may will have to check the fuses individually. The fuses are normally located under the dash on the driver side. The cover would have its own labels for you to identify which fuse are found inside the box.

The radio and the clock from tacoma 2002 did not

On most vehicle the fuse for the clock will be the same as the interior dome light. As for the radio should be a 10 amp fuse (red). Usually found on the interior fuse panel for both.

I jump start my wifes car at night with the cables backwards

I found that while checking my fuses that i had pulled out what looked like a black plastic "fuse puller" that was actually some kind of jumper. I had accidentally re-installed it reversed. I reversed it back to its original position and all lights, clock, radio, etc.. work normal now.
