number 4 misfire check either plug or coil --as to jerking if vehicle is not running correct [misfire ]it will not drive smooth trac light --it can be related to the misfire or check abs and brakes and power braking will set off traction control and puts a strain on brakes and c/v axles
P101 thats incorrect flow from the maf 304 that cylinder 4 misfire had troble this moorning with a code 101 no power 80 km top the catalytic convertor was block cchange it run great now dont forget your 304 code is misfire thats mean the gas that goes in that cylinder doesnt burn it goes in the catalytic converter and it make the converter red hot to melting point let me no brian p.s the 101 code i had this moorning was on a gmc safari with 4.3 liter good luck
My 3.4 liter 91 Cutlass Supreme has similar problem when warm the engine misses (car jerks). But its fine at idle and without any accelerator pressure. The SERVICE ENGINE light also comes on intermittantly. I am going to test the ignition coils.
The jerk is from misfire. Start at the top - check plugs or just put a new set in, check all coil packs and wiring, make sure you have correct fuel psi on fuel rails.
