SOURCE: 2006 dodge ram diesel won't turn over to start

Sir I can help you with this, I have all the service manuals on your truck and will provide anything you need, but this honestly sounds like a bad wire connection or ground on a primary battery cable. I would trace all my battery cables and clean every connection even the engine ground cable and the one at your starter. I will be glad to help you further, I can post step by step trouble shooting guides on your truck if you need them. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: My 97 dodge intrepid 3.5L is running hot.

Check the connection betwteen the temp sensor, located on the block and check your fuses/relays. It may help if you pull and reseat each fuse. This is free and saves a lot of headache swapping out parts.

SOURCE: SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION ON 2006 DODGE CHARGER 2.7L

In my experience with the 2.7L engine, the spark plugs are located on the top of the engine below the individual ignition coils. The coils are placed between the intake manifold and the valve covers, 3 per side. The coils are held in with "torx" screws. Simply remove the screws, and disconnect the connectors to remove the coils. The spark plugs will be underneath. Be sure to properly gap the spark plugs for maximum life and emissions compliance. Also, an improperly gapped plug can shorten the life of the coil packs.
Hope this helps!

2006 Dodge Charger. It overheats sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. What could be wrong.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

When it overheats, check the radiator fan is running, but the most likely reason is that all of the air wasn't bled out. It has to be done a certain way.

When I turn the engine off the engine cooling fan stays on and does not shut off

depending on the engine temperature the fan is supposed to remain on after you turn the engine off, until the engine reaches a preset cooler temperature. when it reaches cooler temperature usually within 5 minutes or so it should cut off... if you cut it off and it is running 30 minutes later.. then there is a problem with the fan relay or temperature sending unit.

Ok when I have my heat fan on my 2006 dodge charger 2.17 it dont run hot but when I turn it off it do our when I turn on the ac it run hot

If the engine is running hot you may be low on coolant. Check this first. If coolant level ok, the rad fan may not be working to cool the engine. If the AC is operational, when you turn it on, the radiator fan should come on telling you the fan motor is ok. You still may have an issue with a fan control related to temperature. This can be caused by a fan relay/wiring/temp sensor/ecm. Make sure the thermostat is functioning properly as well

My engine is running hot and the coolong fans do not go on

Checking codes would be best. First check the fuses. pull them out and look. Then start the car and turn on the A/C, if the fans come on the replace the coolant sensor, first. If not, the swap the cooling fan relays. Things that could be wrong are fan/s, fuses, relays, wiring, and the computer.

Why would the engine temperature remain in the normal range for a couple of hours and then overheats when idling?

Check to make sure both of the electric fans are working. Your car has two cooling fans. As the engine begins to warm up one of the fans will come on. When the engine gets near or above normal temp the other fan will cut on. When you are driving, there is enough air moving through the radiator to keep the engine within normal range. When the car is stopped the fans are needed to draw enough air through the radiator. When the engine is hot and running, open the hood and look to see if both fans are turning. Keep your hands away. Just look don't touch. If neither fan is spinning, or if only one is spinning, you probably need to install a new fan assembly. But check for blown fuses or relays. Have someone check to make sure power is being sent to the fans when they should be spinning.

My 2006 charger 3.5 is leaking coolant but only somtimes is it a sign of water pump malfunction no indications on the gauges but car seems to be running hot

this is most likely the water pump if it is leaking at front of engine, the water pump is under the large timing belt cover and driven by the timing belt, so both are changed at the same time.
