Where is the access to fuel pump on 97 acrua tl

    good try on that boys, but if you pull the bottom trunk liner at the back of the trunk (towards seat back) theres an access panel that you can remove and have full access to fuel pump........pull the tank...please

Fuel pump is inside the Fuel tank. You have to remove the fuel tank first to get to the Fuel pump.

It's in the fuel tank, attached to the sump - take out the rear seat (or in the trunk in redesigned 2001 models) and there should be a panel underneath giving you access to it.

Check for broken, loose, or disconnected wires to your PGM-F1 and ignition unit. If there's none, check for the functionality of these control units. Check also if your camshaft position sensor works.
You may also want to check your spark plugs gaps, fuel filter, pump, and fuel lines.

Trying to replace fuel pump on a 97 acura 3.2 tl but the tank will not drop
I have done all the necessary steps to drop the tank but it is stuck like there is glue. I've used my body weight to pull down the tank and no luck. Even a pry bar too.....is there any other solution?

FUEL PUMP IS IN GAS TANK THE 1.8 ENGINES YOU CAN ACCESS FUEL PUMP BY REMOVING THE REAR SEAT AND THE ACCESS PANEL.THE 3.5 ENGINE YOU CAN REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION AND ACCESS PANEL FROM FLOOR TO REMOVE FUEL PUMP.THE 2.5 AND 3.2 ENGINE REMOVE FUEL PUMP FROM TRUNK FLOOR.AND THE 2.3 AND 3.0 ENGINES FUEL TANK HAS BE LOWER BEFORE YOU CAN REMOVE FUEL PUMP.

Where is the fuel pump locted on a 99 acura tl
HI. First, you will need to remove the filler cap. This will release the pressure in the tank. Once this is done, simply, remove the rear seat. This will expose the fuel pump access panel.The access panel will be secured by three screws. Remove the screws to lift the access panel. Once the panel is lifted, the pump will be accessible.
