Oil pressure sending switch is located near the base of the oil filler tube for the engine. You will have to use a Gm J41712 Socket available in all part store which look like this.

Description

Fits 1-1/16" switches up to 2-5/8" long, found on newer GM and Chrysler vehicles

Fits 1-1/16" oil pressure sending unit (gauge type), found on most all '91 and newer GM vehicles

Also fits '87 and newer Chrysler vehicles with combination light and gauge oil pressure switches

Use with 3/8" drive or 1-1/8" hex

Under the switch housing is the Oil Pressure sending unit. Disconnect the pigtail wires remove and replace unit. Use Silicon grease on threads while assembling.

My 07 tahoe has no oil pressure ive drove it 10 mile to get homeit still runs good but still not showing any oil pressure

Hello, if your engine did not have oil pressure , I doubt you could drive it ten miles. I think you should check your oil pressure with an auxiliary pressure gauge. More than likely you might only need a new oil sending unit.

03 Tahoe oil pressure gague went from 80+ to 0 but runs fine

Oil pressure guage is generally for the engine instead of the transmission. Probably a bad sending unit or gauge. Most commonly it is a bad sending unit or broken connection between the dash and the sending unit mounted on the engine.

2002 tahoe back of motor oil leak, already changed rear main

If you have oil running down the side of the block (from above the oil pan) check the lower edge of the valve cover. Those gaskets often fail to seal when the fasteners eventually work themselves loose

Check the fasteners that secure the valve cover to the heads. Torque to 3 ft lbs.

If the leak persists... replace the gasket.

Oil pressure in 2005 tahoe moves one side to the other is either all the way to the left or all the way to the rightside of gauage.check oil and is fine?

Oil Pressure sending unit gone bad. Cheap but difficult to locate. Depending on engine, sending unit can be behind distributer on block. If not the sending unit the gauge itself. Most likely sending unit.
