When this happened to my nissan gt-r, I just drove it to the local dealership. In fact, that is the quickest way to solve the problem.

The battery may be dead in the fob. Open the fob and replace the battery. If that does not fix it, it may need to be re-programmed by the dealer. If it can't be re-programmed, then the dealer can order a replacement.

Can the keyless fob for nissan sentra 2015 work for the sylphy 2015

Key fobs of any kind are only specific to the car it's programmed to. You would have to contact Nissan, a Nissan specialist or an electronic key specialist and ask them if a new 'unprogrammed' key fob is transferable between models. Being both Nissans it might be possible.

My Nissan altima key remote worked when you get near the car it unlocks etc, now I have to use the actual key fob to unlock it. We changed the battery so that is not the problem.

Hi,
Sounds like the fob or the car has 'forgotten' the other, meaning you need to 'pair' them again. Check the Owner's Manual for instrutions.

Nissan altima key fob broke when dropped

The alarm will sound if the alarm was set before you dropped the key fob. Just put the key in the ignition and start the car, the alarm should turn off.

I changed my car battery, now my 2008 Nissan Altima key fob won't work

There is a special procedure involved in keying your fob to your car once the battery has been changed. You must lock and open the door with your key. Turn the ignition to "on"(not start) then push the fob's open and close button, then shut off ignition. This procedure is done everything the key battery is changed. Hope this can help you!
