Ford ranger elec window switch wont work for either window but pass side does work for that side

if it is electric window check fuse box or the window motor or the connections or switch

I COULD BE A RELAY. OR PERHAPS A BLOWN FUSE
BUT IT SEE,S MORE LIKE A RELAY

Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.

Open your drivers door. There is a rubber boot where wires pass from door to 'incar'. Cut it open with a razer and you will find broked wires ;) easy fix.

could be elec motor, binding regulator or switch problem? does other window work? has both switches been tried? is the window lock on (if equipped)?

Brakes are a mere coincidence. Nothing about brakes ties to window elec. The window may have come off track, the glass area is quite large.

replace the window motor if u believe the switches are good.

Have you tried to put up using the passenger switch? I know this sounds crazy but i have had a few with bad switches and person never thought to try other switch. Can you hear any noise in door? when working switch? if so regulator has come apart and wiill have to remove panel to get window up

The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.
