DIY? you will need a repair manual later anyway. Try your library, Your auto parts store should carry the manual, or try filepeep.com or manualslib.com. It should be near the fuel tank fill access, or nearby, perhaps close to the tank.
Or google images. you may find a picture and location.

My96 olds. Bravada blinkers wont work, when i turn on either blinker all 3 brake lights in back blink on and off (like emergencey flashers are on)I replaced both flashers andhave no burned out bulbs

You are going to have to register on BBB INDUSTRIES
FREE Documentation site...

because... These are REAL GM drawings &
Technical Service Bulletins... (TSBs).

Get onto your SIGNAL/BRAKE Schematic Drawing
and figure out where your "SHORT" (cross-over) is
happening...

This is where the REAL technicians use tone tracers...
and open circuits to halves (50, 50) to isolate FAULTED CIRCUITS.

If you don't "open" the circuits... the tone will travel
everywhere... or no where.

Charcoal canister location

Under the middle of the car towards the driver side. If you look under the driver side passenger door you should be able to see the vent lines going to it.

Where is charcoal canister on 2001 olds bravada

I am not exactly sure what you are referring to as the "Charcoal Canister" But you can check out this website for any and all parts with Diagrams to your particular vehicle. Gas leaking from charcoal canister after i changed fuel filter, pump, clean egr change egr solenoid. ????

The canister got loaded for a reason, what that may be is hard to track down, let it dry out and see if it happens again. This can be caused by over filling the fuel tank i.e. topping off.

1996 oldsmobile bravada, Air blows through defroster only. will not switch to vent or floor heat

Open your hood. You should see a ball attached to it, (just in front of the driver side). There are vacuum lines connected to a ball reservoir. Replace them. Mine were turning into dust. I had the same problem and fixing the vacuum lines corrected it. This is for a 1996 Bravada. Blazer's have the same vacuum lines, but the reservoir is not there.

Ignition Switch failure 1996 Oldsmobile Bravada. All power lost when turn ignition on. Hard time getting key removed.

I have the same problem but i noticed a noise by the shifter so i looked and noticed the wire harness had loose wires. make sure you unplug the battery before messing with the wires.
