Check the CIG/AUX fuse number 20 in the rear fuse block. This supplies power to both the cigar lighter and the auxiliary outlet. Makes more sense to me to check this first before crawling around the dash and running jumpers for ground!

The answer is simple its a 1 wire system works just like the cigarette lighter and on the same circuit. You plug your device or what ever in to the port .The sides are the ground the contact point is the middle is HOT dc power .
The problem is the ground wire no ground no DC current .
Their is no fuse just the ground dosn't need a fuse .
The problem is you have to get at the back of the port witch is inside of the dashboard.
But its low so if you can crawl under the dash and repair there or run a jumper wire from a ground IE any peice of metal mounted to the body of the vehicle it should work again

So there is no way the CIG/AUX fuse number 20 in the rear fuse block is blown? This supplies power to both the cigar lighter and the auxiliary outlet. Makes more sense to me to check this first before crawling around the dash and running jumpers for ground.

Key will turn to auxilary position but won't go further.

I am led to believe that you have a worn-out key. Call your toyota dealer parts dept, give them your VIN number. Get them to give you the key code to your car. Go to a locksmith, give him the code, and have them cut you a new key.

Help, I only have the cigarette lighter port and no power ports

The fastest way is to add an auxilary power port. You can get at O'Reilly or any good car location.
Mount the unit in a convenient place under the dash.
Connect the red to a live always on wire or run out through the firewall and to the pos term on the battery.
Connect the ground to a good metal connection under the dash.

You can also find the original unit at Crysler or junk yard, but the 1st concept is much easier to implement.

Doug

Auxilary power, electric windows, cigarette lighter and radio not working

Since all fuses are okay, I would start my trace from the fuse box and pick the easiest wire to trace which would probably be the lighter or aux. Check for any breaks in the line or any lose connections. It seems like a harness may be disconnected or cut.
