What is the reason for antifreeze leaking along the passenger side floor board if my heater core is located on the drivers side?

sounds like heater matrix leaking,

antifreeze anywhere inside the cabin is a sign of a leaking heater core. Rub the liquid between two fingers. If it feels oily, it's coolant.

That's the antifreeze entering and exiting the heater core, which is located behind the glove box of the dashboard. If there is sweet smell or antifreeze on the inside floor on the passenger side, you have a leak in the heater core.

water pump ? or a heater hose ?

there is only so many things that can cause this and are you sure its anti-freeze and not washer fluid.just something else.a damaged heater core is usually what causes a leak inside the car.when the heater cores were replaced did the shop say there were signs of them leaking or couldn`t see anything.the other is coolant from a previous leak could have spray aroung the air ducting in the dash and has finally found a way out.but this should have been gone shortly afterwards and usually there is only a mist that is sprayed into the air ducts which usually shows up on the inside of the windows,so i don`t think this is the problem.if the hose clamps are loose were the hoses are fastened to the heater core spigots/tubes it could be leaking inside the cars air duct.and yes its unusall for anti-freeze to leak onto the drivers floor but stranger things have happened.

Typically if your leaking coolant inside the car, it indicates your heater core is split and leaking. Replacing the heater core is quite the job. It requires removal of the dash board and heater box. i replaced one in a 97 Cirrus at work last week and it was a 6 hour job. If your not mechanically inclined i would definitley recomend phoneing around for quotes to local auto repair shops and getting it done profesionally.

The heater core is located behind the dash on the passenger side. You can either work on the floor looking up under the dash or remove the dashboard to access it.

check the seals on the doors, also check heater core coil which is under the dash, if your smelling a sweet smell it could be antifreeze leaking out of the heater core

Heater core is on the passenger side under the dash.

Are your coolant levels low?

Start your engine and set the heater on high. This allows circulation through the core. Now check for leaks. Place a paper towel or two on the floor. This will allow you to see the color of whatever is leaking. (e.g. antifreeze)

Fogging will only occur when there is a temperature differential of more than one or two degrees between the inside and outside of the vehicle.

If it's your heater core, unless you're a mechanic you probably should get professional help. The heater core is located on the firewall and many parts need to be replaced to get to it. Do you see water on the floor inside the vehicle, Many times a heater core will leak inside.
