Make sure whatever is plugged into the Aux port is the proper size and configuration (2-lead, 3-lead; 3.5mm, etc) as far as the cable, is properly seated (not so big that it doesn't fit all the way in) and that the device is on. Most Aux inputs don't activate unless there is an active signal coming in.
Testimonial: "It calls for a 3.5mm which is what I have been using. I've tried different cables, and devices (phone, & ipod) and they don't come up with the aux button. It only says the three sat options. Any other ideas?"
Well, shot in the dark here. It's an '07. I'm guessing you haven't tried it before this time? The user manual says to turn on the radio to FM or CD or whatever, adjust the volume, plug in your device and push the Aux button until Line In appears. If that's not happening then either there's gunk in the jack port (it's 8 years old!) or some time previously when the Edge was serviced the wire to the port was disconnected either under the console or behind the radio. It's possible there might be a third location that's easier to reach, like a harness clip that might be loose, somewhere in between.
I did turn off the radio and follow all of the directions from the manual. I'll have to see if it is a bad wire connection. :( Thanks for the suggestion.
