depends if it is an power window as it could be a bad fuse, relay, switch, connection, wire broken or the power window motor. each needs to be checked out. if its a manual window it could be the window regulator that is bad. so as you can see it can be both expensive and not expensive. won`t know until the problem is found.
Need to get a wiring diagram. Buy a book and follow the wiring schematic. It should help you out majorly. Can't really work on electrical issues without one.
Could be almost anything from window motor to wires to relay to window button. You could start at the window button and test power to motor, then eliminate relay until you find where power is out. If power is going to window motor and it does not work, its a bad motor.
try checking the switch that controls the up and down, I just had the opposite problem with my 2003 venture the window would not roll down, the garage put in a new switch for the part was about 75 dollars. it took about an hour to fix.
Hello.Try this.while holding the button down on the drivers side window control, hit the door firnly with the bottom of your fist of with your palm.Do this a few times. If the window starts to work, the problem will be the power window motor.
The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.
