The rattle will be loose screws/bolts in the linkages and maybe the regulator needs to be changed.
Remove the door trim and inspect everything. Tighten all bolts you can reach. Spray all of the points that can rattle with white lithium grease Test the window lifts before replacing the trim.

Rattling noise underneath the vehicle when on.

Usually this is caused by the exhaust, and most common is the heat shield around the catalytic converter. Sometimes these can be spot welded, by I have fixed a few by putting together a few large stainless hose clamps and placing all the way around the unit and tighten them up. Sometimes the rattle is internal, and replacement is the only option. If so, rather than getting a very expensive stock replacement, you can by a universal easy flow hot rod type for about $100, plus installation.

Rattle when decelerating or sometimes in idle

you need to be very cautious as this culd very easily be mistaken for a loose rod insert...around 2200 rpm hold the idle steady and see if you here a rattle. Then do it again increase slightly then decrease slightly...if you still here it, its possible an insert has came loose from oil run too low or high mileage wear and tare on the crankshaft..if you love it fix it if you dont trade it quickly...GOD bless

The rear passenger window will not roll up.

Soundls like your window motor went bad. Could also be window regulator or just a bad wiring conection. Take off door pannel and check the connections and the motor. Hope that helps

1998 ford taurus driver window won't go up, I got it up then I hit the inside door panel to get it in place now the window is stuck down again, what doI do?

First, Push the window button that corresponds with the window that is stuck. Slam the door. Jostles the bushings that probably have dried up grease. Then window begins to work again. Second, try taking off the door panel. Once the door panel is off, connect a test light to the harness side of the connector and try the switch in both positions. If it lights up in both switch positions, circuit to motor is fine, and motor is the problem. Sometimes the motors can be fixed, sometimes not.

Passenger window rattling when all the way up.

First check and see that all the weather stripping in on if it is then remove the door panel and check for any loose bolts for the track, sometimes the bolts come loose that hold the track to door and then it will rattle.

I own an '05 Mini Cooper S with increased rattling

hi you can try removing the door panel and putting in some sponge at the top of the door inside, do the window right up and glue it in place you will have to measure the gap between the door and the window as you do not want too thick sponge as this will hinder the window coming down this should cure the rattles have done this with my own bmw and seems to work well....hope that helps
