SOURCE: what kind of rear breaks do I need on my 2003

Hi,
Whether 2 WD or 4 WD, you have brake shoes.
They cost about $58 for a set (both rear wheels) at Autozone.
Hope this helps...

SOURCE: remove rear brake drum 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander

Dear Brake Drum Remover,
I'm gonna tell you how to pull this drum off, ya ready?First off, get the rear of the vehicle up in the air safely, Then pull the rear tires off. After those are off then take a gander at the face of the drums, are there shiny brass looking screws installed on the face of that drum?Ifso remove those counterclockwise, then, take a hammer a shock the face off the drum firmly about three times. Now, go to the opposite side on the face of the drum and do that again, keep on doin that until you can wiggle the drum off by hand...easy as that, any other questions get back to me. I'M HERE TO HELP!!!

SOURCE: There is a bang in

Only 3 things can shift wide enough to generate the bang: the muffler, one of the supports for the shocks attached to the rear axle and the rear shaft's intermediate support. All 3 are attached to the body of the car with rubber bushings that have either aged and got loose or they failed all-together.
The only way to determine which is the cause is to get under the car and to start shaking the parts - either with your bare hand or with a small lever. The part that has too much play or on which the bushing is visibly damaged is the culprit - replace the damaged bushing.

Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 driver seat stuck, the seat wont recline backward? How do I go about solving this frustrating issue?

May require removal of seat upholstery to gain access to linkage. Might be best to check with an upholstery shop as they probably know all about this.

Rear seat on 2003 outlander is stuck in the down position how do i get it to the up position?

http://outlander.net.ru/Vitaly/CHASSIS/03/all_of_car.pdf

I have the same problem. Finally found this repair manual on line.
Pages 52A-27 & 28 give a break down of the seat.
The reclining knob is broken #23. It engages the reclining cable #31.
Look closely at the underside of the knob to see if part of it is broken off and this will indicate we share the same problem.
I've always let go off the knob when reclining the seat, but in the future, I'll be slowly releasing it.

Fix a stuck back seat seat belt 2006 mitsubishi lancser

Most often the cause for the rear belts getting stuck is not an actual bad belt mechanism, but the belt simply getting folded over and retracted that way.

Try pulling the belt out as far as you can and inspect for the belt being folded. If this is the case, slowly work it back and forth trying to unfold it. It will take a while sometimes.
