When i changed ignition on 2001 ford explorer I ended up having to replace steering column now it wont turn over & the anti theft light flashes & wont stop. what can be done to get car started?

I have tried the following things already: 1.) radio, dash lights, and door locks all work, 2.)locksmith made new keys, 3.) charged the battery & 4.) throwing code "no tx verify"

At least you know the anti theft system is working. Jokes aside, I would think that the electronic security system is not recognising the new lock and steering column. You could try leaving the battery completely disconnected for at least 2 or 3 hours to see if the system resets. Reconnect the battery and then try again with the new key. You will have to put the security code back into your radio as well. If this doesn't work, it may need to go to a Dealer to reprogram your electronic system.

Changed steering column with another one , everything comes on but wont start.

Did you put the original anti-theft module on the new steering column ? Does yours have steering column mounted ignition switch ? Vehicles with steering column mounted ignition switches have the exciter integral with the theft deterrent control module (VTD) which is located within the steering column.

When i changed ignition on '01 ford explorer I had to replace steering column&it wont turn over&the theft light flashes&wont stop. The locksmith said antenna dont match Can i reprogram so it'll start?

The theft light flashes when the is off If it is flashing when the key is on I would think you don't have power in the correct position in the ignition.Check fuses and wiring.
