Drivers side low beam headlight went out, replaced the bulb but only works on high beam, any suggestions

bad connection or bad earth check all connection or bulb

I would check for the groundwire continuity

The high beam continues to work on both sides...I pulled the Driverside headlamp fuse and then both left and right beams lit up but very dim.

My passenger side low beam headlight recently went off on me. ... I've changed the bulb again, and changed the fuse just in case, but .... If you have standard halogen bulbs:

1. Burned out light bulb; or
2. Fried wires between the dashboard wiring harness and the headlight bulb connectors; or
3. Fried headlight bulb connectors.

If you have HEI emitters:

• Failed ballast.

check for a damaged wire for the low beam. Also wouldn't hurt to check the ground wire as the high beam will try and ground through the low beam but not visa verse

Have you checked to see if you have power at the headlight bulbs ? And have you tried replacing one of the bulbs ?

replace the high beam switch which causes this problem. Also clean the terminals for the directional light bulb. That will cause a negative continuity to the bulb

replace the headlight bulbs. Usually when the bulbs blow out the low beam blows out first, but the high beams still work. If you want and need both low and high beams to work then replace the headlight bulbs with brand new ones and I garauntee that both low and high beams will work
