Turns signals do not work on 1992 Ford Thunderbird

Behind left hand side of instrument panel on fuse box.Look where your left leg normaly is, look under dash there for fuse box look forl round unit pluged into box one is the turn signal flasher and the other is hazzard . Turn on turn signal and see which one is clicking and the other one is the hazzard

The Flasheris located: Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted on support bracket

Flasher should be ok, May need to replace the turn signal. fuse. Need to see if bulbs are 4 way or 2 wat and what flashes ? good luck to ya.

that could easily be just the fuse or the flasher unit. both are on the driver side under the dash

If the lights come on but just do not flash, replace the flasher relay. Your Thunderbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the Turn signals and one for the Hazard lights. The turn signal relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in lower corner of fuse block . The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. see if hazards lights work..if they do it could be the multi function switch that operates the turn signals..the fancy name for the stalk...

1. Access the COMBINATION Turn Signal and Hazard INDICATOR FLASHER on the Left-Hand (drivers) side of the instrument panel in the fuse junction panel.
   

1. Remove turn signal flasher/hazard indicator flasher by pulling indicator flasher straight out.
   

1. To install, align the terminals of the flasher and press into place.
