Did you get two keys from the locksmith? Ford takes two different keys to reprogram the security. If neither key works, I would call the locksmith back. You should have a warranty. I personally don't mess with locksmiths when it comes to Ford. Dealer only.

This is not an unusual problem with late model Fords. The computer that runs the show has problems. A Ford dealership that has, this is important, a full service diagnostic computer that can reprogram your computer will work only. Call first as most will tell you they can diagnose everything. Not true. They did not buy a big enough devise from Ford as all the can do is read codes. In yours codes needs to repeat 5 to 8 errors before it will trip a computer reaction. Try this first as it might get you too the dealership without towing. Disconnect the Battery' Positive Post and take a screw driver as an extension and short the positive to the Negative Post for about 10 to 15 seconds. It should delete the codes long enough for you to get to the proper dealership. Did you program the key fobs or the dealership? Vic

2010 ford explorer won't start. No lights on dash or power anywhere. Battery less than a year old.

Make sure battery has a full charge and connections, positive and negative, all good. Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. Leave meter leads touching battery posts, have helper turn key to crank, does voltage drop? How far?
If battery down, use a charger and get it charged up, check your charging system. Use a test light and check voltage at fuses in fuse box, some fuses hot all the time, some go hot with key on. good luck

2006 Ford focus zx4 St..replaces the alternator last night car ran fine all day I came home for lunch and then I went to leave to go back to work about 35 min later and the car would not start wouldn't...

Make sure battery has a full charge. With everything off, use digital multimeter leads across battery posts, the generic spec is around 12.6 volts. Leave the leads hooked up, have helper turn key to crank, what is the reading? If the circuit is closed to the starter, shouldn't drop below 9.6 volts, some makes and models, it shouldn't drop below 10 volts. You get the picture, if drops way low, that won't work.
I'd have to check generator output and battery.

03 jeep grand cheroke 4.0 2x4 = no start with new battery installed. No lights on the dash at start

I would start at the key switch and check for power there.
It's possible the switch is not turning completely on or to start.

1996 LeSabre custom won't start. Turned key to start and lights on dash came on, car cranked momentarily the all lights on dash and entry went out and not a sound when turn key to start. This happened...

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Voltage and ground are both important. You could use a test light on the fuses in the fuse box to check for voltage. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
You may have to check feed to and from ignition switch.

My 2004 f150 wont turn over

Have you checked your battery? Not knowing the full story about your truck, I would guess battery. Check wires running to starter for power also it could possibly be a fuse.

04 chevy 2500HD start relay /Circuit braker turns off @ key crank

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Any fuses in the diagram, test for voltage, some are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. Leave the leads hooked up to battery, have a helper turn key to crank, how far does it drop? In my opinion it shouldn't drop much under 10 volts, I wouldn't argue with 9.6 volts.
