How do you manually raise the softtop on a 2003 clk320 benz?

just put a socket and rachet on the bolt for the tensioner pulley and move the tensioner to the right to loosen the slack on the belt.

Try using the second key if you have one. Does the key not working look like it is bent? The ignition cylinder may just be worn to the point that it needs to be replaced.

After removing the Hardtop, the softtop will not raise.

I'd check at switch itself first. If you can get a test light on wires at back of switch, you will get power at one, when switched one way, and should have power at another when switch other way.

hi there it sounds to me like the brake calipar is either loose or the brake pad has separated and if this happens it will also damage the abs sensor
