if its a power window, have a close listen to see if you can here a slight clicking noise as if something is trying to work, as you push the window switch from up to down position if you do that means power is trying to get down to the motor and that means there is a good chance that your power window motor might have kicked the bucket. if thats not it might be a wireing problem..when you open your door you can see a black rubber plug going from your door frame to your door, try wiggleing that plug.
