What car, ? name it please.
what year, (its not a motor cycle..
F6A is just and engine. (single and twin cam)
6 valves, or 12? SOHC or DOHC?
the single cam runs SOLIDS and rocker adjusters.,
not all engines are the same, for all years made or even your unstated country. so ??? answer that first.
this is USA forum and most the below is not sold here.
it might not even have solids././... so.... if true, good luck finding them....

F6A - 657 cc (40.1 cu in) (65.0 x 66.0mm)1990.03-1994.11 Suzuki Alto / Alto Hustle1994.11-1998.10 Suzuki Alto HA/HB/HC/HD111998.10-2000.12 Suzuki Alto HA12 / Mazda CarolSuzuki Cappuccino EA11RSuzuki CaraSuzuki Carry1990.07-1998.10 Suzuki Cervo Mode CN/CP21S, CN/CP22SSuzuki Every1995-1998 Suzuki Jimny JA12

or do a search next time?

http://www.fixya.com/cars/t8509156-specific_valve

    F6A 3 cylinder. engine
then non turbo has rocker lash adjusters.
but there are 2 F6a' single and twin cam.
so... they wont be the same....

    6valve and 12valve heads.!

    Name: F6A Turbo
    Type: 657cc EFI OHC 6-valve 3-cyl turbo
    Power: 43kW @ 5500 (90-91), 45.5kW (92), 47kW (95-on)
    Torque: 86Nm @ 3500 (90-91), 87Nm (92), 98Nm (95-on)
Sources: Every EX660 90-91, every PS 1992-on (both same as Suzuki carry van), 92-93 Autozam Carot

    Name: F6A DOHC Turbo
    Type: 657cc EFI DOHC 12-valve 3-cyl turbo
    Power: 47kW @ 6400
    Torque: 85.3Nm @ 4000
    Sources: 1994 Cappuccino, 91-93 Alto Works RS/R (4WD east-west), 92-93 Autozam AZ-1 (mid mounted)

the SOHC head engine is covered, here.
    page 87 and 88, LASH.http://sillylittlecars.com/files/Cushman...

btw 1st google hit on a real book.

the twin cam F6a has HLA ,
12 hydraulic adjusters. and no adjustments at all there.

    so what year, what car./?
never post with out VIN or full name and year of car....please.

  • Anonymous May 27, 2015

there is the F6a twin cam and F6B twin cam.

  • Anonymous May 27, 2015

no w step by step, sorry not going there.
on the single cam, but on all engines, there are 2 ways , one only works on a suzuki F6A SOHC way or the generic way.
Generic always works , Zero books in shop.
Buy the FSM and read it?
set each cylinder one by one, to it's TDC firing position, and set lash using a feel gauge, is this the first time ever doing lash or using a feeler gauge.????

why not use YOUTUBE and see it done on 1000s of engines. then ask, questions that are not clear.
read a book on basic engine repair, check one out at the library for free.>?
    buy one?
there are vast books on topic, as are online..... no lack.......

  • Anonymous May 28, 2015

why cant you answer simple qeustions. single or twin cam. surely you can count cams or post the vin. or photo of engine. really? and if they are solids, there are 1000 of youtube examples, all you need is the firing order to do this simple job. Btw, the online and real FSM are all available, but the first question is the year, and never stated by you, making anyone looking it up ,very impossible.....

  • Anonymous May 30, 2015

in your country walk into Suzuki parts counter and say, "sell me the factory service manual" and keep it for life of car. never having to beg online again or worst on forums that have no such cars... here.
Steps. set engine to #1 TDC firing (google how)
then set lash on that cylinder to spec. using a feeler gauge (youtube 1000s of others doing that)
next go to next cylinder in firing order
and repeat, this, 1,3,4,2 for 4 bangers.
when the cylinder is firing, the lash is LOOSE. (solids)

When cold: 0.13mm Intake and 0.18mm Exhaust
Engine sounded well and worked fine after that.

Before doing anything else . Check the idle air control valve. It is located at the hole in the fuel system side. It can be removed and cleaned. Or spray cleaned using carb cleaner. After removing the air duct work. With the engine on and running at 1200 rpms or so, spray cleaner directly at some holes in the sides of the hole going to the fuel system. turn off engine and let the cleaner soak into the valve.Repeat process. If that is not the problem. it may be the Idle position sensor, (IPS) it is located near the fuel systen with a plug of a few wires. remove the plug and replace the sensor.

Do they use the same carb in the Suzuki F6, F6A, 6 valve and 12 valve engines

The Suzuki F6, F6A, 6 valve, and 12 valve engines do not necessarily use the same carburetor. The carburetor used on a particular engine depends on factors such as the engine's displacement, number of cylinders, and year of manufacture.
For example, the Suzuki F6A engine, which was used in various Suzuki vehicles such as the Suzuki Carry and Suzuki Jimny, has several different carburetor options depending on the model year and vehicle application. Some of the carburetors used on the F6A engine include the Hitachi DM14, DM20, and DM24 carburetors, as well as the Suzuki F5A and F8B carburetors.
Similarly, the Suzuki F6 engine, which was used in the Suzuki Cappuccino sports car, also has a specific carburetor designed for its engine configuration.
Therefore, it's important to confirm the exact engine model and year of manufacture, as well as the vehicle application, to determine the correct carburetor for a particular engine.
