1994 dodge ram 1500 I ran outta gas then put gas in it. It wouldn't start at first. My ignition switch has a short in it always, the fuel pump only comes on when the switch is in just the right spot.

Older fuel pumps do not like running out of gas. They tend to die. Try starting it as some one hits the bottom of the tank. Most times this jar the pump and it will start. It still needs replaced though.

SOURCE: where is the fuel pump reset switch on my 98 dodge

There is likely a fuse and a relay. The relay is usually under the hood in a black plastic box along with other relays. The fuse is usually near by. Look under the lid of the box as the components are labeled there. Use a test lamp that says computer safe to check the power at the fuse when an assistant turns the key on. The light should come on for a few seconds and then turn off. You may have a failed fuel pump that is causing the fuse to blow. IF replacement of the fuel pump is nessecary, the cargo box will have to be removed (easier than removing fuel tank). ONLY replace with a complete fuel pump module as pump only replacements have a high failure rate. I know, I had to replace twice before getting the complete unit.

SOURCE: how to get the fuel pump out of the gas tank on a

you have one or two options you can slide the bed off of the frame enough to gain acess to the top of the fuel tank or you can drop the tank if you drop the tank its better if its not full of gas makes for easier handiling either way once you get access to the top of the tank you will have to use a straight edge and a hammer in order to release the locking tab on the pump once the tab is free you will be able to pull the pump out of the tank. reverse the process in order to reinstall.

My 2004 dodge ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi intermittently stalls when I get about 2 blocks from gas station. I stop at first click. I have ran seafoam and used throttle body cleaner.

Lol is it because you only put 50 cents of fuel in... in all seriousness it could be any number of things... bad fuel, ( water in tank) bad fuel pump, bad ignition ( especially if you have a lot of crap on the key chain as the extra weight can short out the ignition switch after a while), over heating, bad wires... so you can see this one is hard to diagnose. However if you are going to use sea foams then put is straight into the gas tank. Just read bk to see if it is able to be added to gas tank... going straight into throttle body isn't a great idea as it doesn't get mixed with enough fuel.

Since repalacing fuel pump doesn't get fire

Take a look at the repair history. If you have fuel and you know the fuel is entering the cylinders then you need to find out why there isn't spark. Inspect spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, then the coil, distributor, wiring, ignition switch, and ignition module.
