Im thinking the engine got so hot it has blown the head gasket and water is in the bores .this will stop the engine turning over.the problem is the why.leaks of any kind in cooling system can cause this.hope this helps.
Won't start as in no rotation of the starter motor and no clicking sound? Or starter turns slowly with the engine? Or the starter and engines turns normally but will not start? Or starter turns normally but engine will not turn?
I don't see how leaking transmission fluid would be connected to the engine overheating, unless the radiator blew up. You'll need to figure out why it won't start to proceed. Check for spark and fuel pressure, and of course compression. Is the check engine light on ?
You possibly have antifreeze in your engine where it dont belong, like the exhaust manifold if it was coming out of your exhaust. One reason it wont start is that either the head gasket went out and anitfreeze is leaking in that way or the manifold gasket is out and its getting in the combustion chambers to the pistons.
you said it cranks then you said it wont turn over if it wont turn over you might have get the engine to hot and seized the engine please spesifiy if the engine turns over or not
Check for spark. If there is none take a peak at your work. The crank sensor is in that area and it is possible you damaged it when you replaced the water pump.

If the engine was overheated, you most likely have a cracked cylinder head and/or a blown head gasket. The reason it won't start is because there is angine coolant getting in the combution chambers. (You cannot run the engine on antifreeze)
